BackSRRC, ICAR-CSWRI, Mannavanur organized Hindi Saptah – 2022
As per the HQ instructions, the Southern Regional Research Centre of ICAR-CSWRI, Mannavanur, Kodaikanal organized Hindi Saptah during 14-23 September, 2022. Events were organized in collaboration with Govt. Hr. Sec. School, Mannavanur and Punjab National Bank, Mannavanur.
As a part of Hindi Saptah, Hindi Mass was organized in the Govt. Hr. Sec. School, Mannavanur on 20.09.2022 where in around 100 students and teachers participated. The event was organized in the presence of Head Mistress of the school Mrs Pandiammal and the staff of SRRC. Dr P Thirumurugan, OIC, SRRC enlightened the students about the utility aspects of knowing Hindi language locally, nationally and globally. Other staff members including Dr Nagarajan, Dr Jegaveera Pandian and Dr Pachaiyappan inculcated the importance of Hindi language at pan India level to the students. Various competitions viz., quiz, speech & question answer panel were conducted and excelling students in Hindi language awareness were given appreciation prizes.
Next event, Hindi awareness program was organized in the farm premises of SRRC, Mannavanur on 21.09.2022 wherein the regular and contractual staff of SRRC along with staff members of Punjab National Bank, Mannavanur, participated. The program was organized in the presence of Mr Satheesh, Manager, Punjab National Bank, Mannavanur as chief guest. Importance of Hindi language was imparted to the staff and employees. A Hindi quiz was organized and the chief guest gave away prizes to the winners.
