BackICAR-CSWRI, ARC Bikaner Organized 3 days training programme under SCSP

Three days training programme was organized from 8-10^th March, 2022 at Pallu, Hanumangarh for livelihood improvement of SC BPL farmers under institute SCSP. The farmers were awared about integrated sheep and goat farming to improve livelihood and nutritional security. A total of seventy five interested SC-BPL farmers from different villages i.e., Purabsar, Bisrasar, Kailania, Mayala etc attended the training programmes. The programmes was coordinated by Drs. H K Narula (Principal Scientist & Head), Ashok Kumar, Scientist & Co Nodal Officer, SCSP and assisted by Shri Madan Lal, TO, ICAR-CSWRI, ARC Bikaner.  The programme was chaired by Dr Arun Kumar Tomar, Director ICAR-CSWRI, Avikanagar. DR Keshari Chand, Sr Veterinary Officer, Animal Husbandry, Pallu also graced the programme and gave inputs on ongoing state animal husbandry plans.  Dr Arun Tomar, Director addressed the gathering and encouraged the SC farmers to adopt integrated sheep, goat and rabbit farming for livelihood and nutritional security. Dr H K Narula delivered lecture on the overall scientific management of sheep and goat. Dr Ashok Kumar delivered lecture about scientific health and reproductive management for better profit. Shri Madan Lal also shared his experience about sheep farming at ARC, Bikaner. In the last part of the programme, SC farmers were benefitted with feeding troughs, sprayer, umbrella, water bottle, water tube, office bag and mineral mixture for livelihood improvement.
