BackAI training program organized at CSWRI

A training program on “Demonstration of Estrus Synchronization & Artificial Insemination (AI) in Sheep” sponsored by Central Wool Development Board was conducted at the institute from November 21-27, 2013. The program was focused on practical demonstration of semen collection, semen processing, estrus synchronization and artificial insemination in field, etc. The veterinary officers of Jammu and Kashmir, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh were participated in the training program. Honorable Director (works), Mr. V. P. Kothiyal presided over valedictory function as a chief guest. Dr. S M K Naqvi, Director, CSWRI welcomed the chief guest and explained the background of the training program. Course coordinator of the program, Dr. Davendra Kumar briefed about activities conducted during the program. Certificates were distributed to all the participants by the Chief Guest. The Chief Guest appreciated CSWRI for its efforts. The program was coordinated by Er. Vinod Kadam, HRD section and vote of thanks was proposed by Dr. Krishnappa.
