BackICAR-CSWRI, ARC Bikaner Organized Kisan goshti and distributed Sirohi goats under SCSP Head of Marwari Network Project

A Kisan goshti was organized on the occasion of golden jubilee year of Institute and Ajadi ka Amrit Mahotsva series in SCSP component of Marwari Network Project at Pallu, Hanumangarh on 11.10.2021. About 15 SC sheep and goat farmers participated in the programme. At the onset of program Dr Ashok Kumar, Scientist and Co-Nodal Officer, SCSP detailed about scheme, farmers friendly technology developed by the institute for the benefits of the farmers and awared about the scientific livestock rearing practices for more benefits from sheep and goat farming. On the occasion, Sarpach Ratanadeshar-Dudhli, Shri Badri, Veterinary Assistant, Govt Veterinary Hospital, Pallu and Shri Ajay Beniwal, LSA, Govt Veterinary Hospital, Dhandhusar were present. Shri Madan Lal, Technical Officer, ICAR-CSWRI, ARC Bikaner assisted during the programme and shared his practical experience of sheep rearing at the centre. In the last, Sirohi bucks (7) and doe (2) were distributed among the beneficiaries for genetic improvement of their flock.
