BackOrganization of Krishak Vaigyanik Samvad under SCSP component of Network projects at ARC Bikaner



 Kirshak Vaigyanik Samvad was organized at ARC, Bikaer under SCSP components of Magra and Marwari Network projects on 05.07.2021. A total of 28 SC sheep farmers from Kotda and Goleri area participated in the program. Dr H K Narula, Head welcomed the chief guest, Sh Sumit Godara, MLA, Lunkaransar Bikaner and honourable Director cum Project Coordinator, ICAR-CSWRI, Avikanagar, Dr Arun Kumar Tomar. At the onset of program, Dr H K Narula briefed about the  works and different activities being undertaken at ARC, Bikaner for the welfare of farmers. Dr Arun Kumar Tomar inspired the farmers to participate in every program of ICAR institutes at Bikaner. He designated all ICAR institutes as Knowledge Temples for farmers and invited sheep farmers to take maximum advantage out of these institutes. Mr Sumit Godara interacted with sheep farmers and told to farmers that present pandemic scenario may be useful to sheep farmers as people are becoming more inclined about natural things. Dr Ashish Chopra, Sr Scientist, coordinated the program. Twenty eight seed bins and twenty eight feeding troughs were distributed among SC sheep farmers. Dr Nirmala Saini delivered vote of thanks to august audience.  Dr Chandan Prakash detailed about use of health technologies and its benefits to sheep farmers. Dr Ashok Kumar gave detailed lecture on reproductive disturbance and remedies in livestock.
