BackDirector General,Central Public Work Department visited ICAR-CSWRI, SRRC Mannavanur
On 7th March 2021, Er.Vinit Kumar Jayaswal, the Director General, Central Public Work Department, Ministry of Urban Development, Govt. of India, New Delhi visited Southern Regional Research centre (ICAR-Central Sheep and Wool Research Institute), Mannavanur, Kodaikanal, Tamil Nadu - 624103, along with Er.Chaitanya Kumar Varma, ADG, Chennai Region, CPWD and Er.Ujjwal Kumar, Chief Engineer, CPWD, Madurai. At the outset, Dr.A.S.Rajendiran, Officer Incharge of the centre cordially welcomed them with Sandal garlands and Shawls. Then, the honorable guests planted the tree saplings within the campus of SRRC and subsequently inspected recently established borewell facility at SRRC, Mannavanur. Further, the team also inspected the various works at SRRC Campus, Mannavanur from 2013 to till date, carried out by Central Public Work Department (CPWD), Madurai Central Division No.1, Madurai, Tamil Nadu - 625002. The team specially appraised the works of the new administrative building and Modern sheep shed at SRRC, executed by CPWD, Madurai. Finally, the Director General initiated the pending work of Provision of approach road to Animal sector at SRRC, Campus. The team then looked the Sheep and Rabbits in their respective sectors of the centre and interacted as well with the staff of SRRC.
The staff of CPWD, MCD-1, Madurai, viz., Er.G.Subramanian, Executive Engineer, Er.Smt.L.K.Latha, Asst. Engineer, Er.P.Prabaharan, Junior Engineer, staff of Planning, CE office, Madurai, viz., Er.Saravanan, Asst. Engineer & Er.Mrs.Saritha and staff of SRRC, viz., Dr.A.S.Rajendiran, Officer Incharge, Dr.G.Nagarajan, Sr. Scientist, Dr.S.Rajapandi, ACTO (Vet.
