BackICAR – CSWRI celebrates 70th Republic Day

The 70^th Republic Day on 26^th January 2021 was celebrated with much enthusiasm and joy in ICAR- CSWRI, Avikanagar. In the event, apart from institute staffers and their family, employees and their family of State school and Central School had also actively taken part to celebrate the Republic Day with patriotic fervour. Programme was arranged in the state school playground and COVID-19 guidelines were scrupulously followed. The event was presided over by Dr Arun Kumar, Director, ICAR-CSWRI and all division and section in-charges participated. After the tricolour flag hoisting, in his address, Dr Arun Kumar infused patriotism in all residents of Avikanagar and remembered great leaders who had been inspiring and guiding the populace of this vast country till date. Sweets and greeting were shared among the participants and a friendly cricket match was organized by Recreation Club between the youths of Avikanagar and staff of CSWRI. With the vote of thanks by Sh. Suresh Kumar, Chief Administrative Officer of ICAR-CSWRI,   programme was concluded.
