BackExhibition of CSWRI technologies at Diggi mela

 For the first time, an exhibition of institute technologies was stalled by Division of Transfer of Technology and Social Sciences under the guidance of Dr. S.M.K. Naqvi, Director CSWRI from 12th August to 16th August 2013 at Diggi, on the occasion of famous ‘Diggi mela’. Hundreds of farmers from different parts of the state visited the stall and discussed with scientists on different aspects of sheep and rabbit production during these five days. Farmers and youth showed more interest on quality rams, disease management and training on sheep and rabbit production. Around ten thousand pamphlets depicting institute’s activities and services regarding sheep and rabbit were distributed. This mela provided a unique opportunity to the institute not only to reach such large number of stakeholders within a short period of time, but also to attract youth towards sheep and rabbit entrepreneurship and farming.
