BackExecutive Director, Central Wool Development Board visited CSWRI

 Er K K Goyal, Executive Director, Central Wool Development Board, Jodhpur has visited Central Sheep and Wool Research Institute, Avikanagar on 18.07.13. After customary welcome, Dr S M K Naqvi Director of the institute expressed gratitude towards wool board for their generous help and research support to various activities related to wool products and processes in the country. Er K K Goyal appreciated the research activities of CSWRI and ensured financial support for the activities like procurement of wool shearing machine and imparting short term training to artisan, farmers and breeders. While addressing to the scientists he informed that CWDB has invited proposal from scientist/artisan/designer for foreign visit which will lead to product and/or business development (With reference to Namda).  He has suggested to exhibit technologies of CSWRI at Jaipur during proposed visit of Union Textile Minister, Mr K S Rao in next week. During the meeting, Dr Sahoo, Dr Gulyani, Dr R C Sharma, Er Ajay Kumar along with other head of departments exchanged views for future programs like shelter management at Leh, feed supplement to Angora, CFC facility creation, training capsules, etc.  The meeting ended with vote of thanks to all by I/C HRD.
