Member ICAR governing body Prof. K. K. Saharia  along with Dr Arun Tomar, Director and Dr A Sahoo, Head (Animal Nutrition), CSWRI Avikanagar visited Arid Region Campus, Bikaner on 19^th March 2018.  Dr Tomar, Director welcomed the member and briefed the role and achievement of this campus regarding improving carpet wool production through indigenous sheep of arid zone in present scenario. Dr A.K.Patel, Head, ARC coordinated the visit of dignitaries to sheep sectors, feed technology unit, A. I. lab, museum etc.MLM Software Free Demo At Magra sectors dignitaries interacted with sheep farmers to know the impact of improved rams and other technologies in their flocks. Magra rams were also distributed to the farmers on this occasion. Dignitaries appreciated the facilities developed at ARC in recent years and they inaugurated the electric facility for farm & Chokla sector and newly renovated workshop building. After completing the visit, Head Dr Patel briefed the research and other achievements in ARC through presentation. Member G B, Prof. Saharia was overwhelmed to see the development and overall achievement of this regional centre. He also conveyed the beneficial policy of government for farmers and desired double the income of sheep farmers by adopting the improved technologies and awareness. Member G B and other dignitaries planted tree at Chokla sector.
