BackDistribution of inputs by ICAR-NTRS (CSWRI) in remote village ‘Kuleth’ under TSP project

One day Kisan gosthi cum input distribution camp was organized for livestock owners in “Village: Kuleth, Sub-Tehsil: Bharmour, District: Chamba, H.P.” on 05-03-2017 under TSP project. 36 livestock owners and their family members participated in the programme. Dr. S.R. Sharma, Dr. D. Sethi and Sh. Y.R. Meena registered the farmers under TSP project. Mineral mixture and medicine kits were distributed to the participating farmers. A kisan Gosthi was also organized on the occasion and farmers were made aware about scientific livestock management, with special emphasis on sheep production. Queries of farmers related to problems in their livestock were also solved. From the discussion, it was clear that ‘Foot rot’ and ‘Mange’ are important problems found in sheep in that region. The farmers also showed interest in taking part in training programme on sheep production.
