BackExposure visit of Odisha Veterinary Officers at CSWRI

A team of Seventeen Veterinary Officers (Odisha Govt.) have visited CSWRI, Avikanagar from 15.02.2017 to 18.02.2017. During exposure visit veterinary officers interacted with Scientists of different divisions/Sections and discussed about technologies developed at the institute, management practices followed at different sheep sectors.  The team of veterinary officers also visited different research farm and animal sectors i.e. Animal Physiology sector, Goat Sector, Avishan breed at sector 12, sector 13, 18 and 18, laboratories, Feed Technology Unit, TMTC Unit  and Institute exhibition. In four days of training-cum-exposure visit, the officers showed their keen interest in Embryo transfer technology, estrus synchronization, animal breeding protocol; meat product technology and fodder production and conservation aspects. The Director has briefly explained the importance of sheep in dry areas; various technologies developed by institute. The training-cum-exposure visit was organized and coordinated by HRD section of the institute.
