BackValedictory function of AI training

Central Sheep and Wool Research Institute has organized seven day (15.06.2016 to 21.06.2016) Hands-on-training on “Demonstration of Oestrus Synchronization and Artificial Insemination in Sheep’’ for the Veterinary Officers of Uttar Pradesh. The valedictory function was held on 21.06.16 under the chairmanship of Dr. S. M. K. Naqvi, Director, ICAR-CSWRI. Dr Kayan De, course coordinator explained the activities conducted during the training program and emphasised that the technology has been demonstrated at farmer’s flock in the field. In the presidential address, Dr. Naqvi elaborated the simplicity of AI technique and hoped that the participants will use the technique to uplift the income of sheep farmers. Certificates were distributed to all the seven participants by the Director. It is certain that the training programme has provided sufficient knowledge to the participants in sheep reproduction.  The participants not only appreciated the institute staff but also the infrastructure during their feedback. The program was coordinated by Dr. S.C. Sharma, I/C HRD and vote of thanks was proposed by Dr. Krishnappa, Scientist, Animal Physiology and Bio-chemistry Division.
