BackExhibition of CSWRI technologies at Directorate of Rapeseed- Mustard Research Bharatpur

The Central Sheep and Wool Research Institute participated in the 22^nd Sarson Vigyan Mela-cum Exhibition organized by DRMR Bharatpur from 18-02-16 to 20-02-16 and exhibited its technologies for the farmers and stakeholders. Hon’ble Shri Mohanbhai Kalyanjibhai Kundaria, Minister of State, Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Govt. of India, and Dr. J. S. Sandhu Deputy Director General (Crop Science) ICAR, New Delhi visited CSWRI stall and appreciated the technologies developed by the institute and were especially impressed by the women’s training programmes on handcraft woolen products initiated by the institute. About 1200 Farmers, rural youth, students and extension officers visited our stall and discussed with scientists on different aspects like breeds, elite ram disease management and training on sheep production. The institute exhibition was stalled by Dr.L.R.Gurjar and Mr. R.L.Bairwa.
