BackCSWRI, Avikanagar Hosted 46th Executive Committee Meeting of the Wool Board Under the Chairmanship of Ms Geeta Narayanta Joint Secretary (Wool), Ministry of Textiles, New Delhi

Hon’ble  Joint Secretary (Wool), Ministry of Textiles, New Delhi, Ms Geeta Narayan visited ICAR-Central Sheep and Wool Research Institute, Avikanagar on 20^th January, 2016. During his visit she inaugurated newly developed sheep washing unit and renovated sheep shearing shed stabilised under CWDB Sponsored projects on Machine Shearing of wool.  Dr. SMK Naqvi, Director of the institute demonstrated the ongoing research and development activities of the institute to the chief guest and other dignitaries.

In the afternoon, 46^th meeting of the Executive Committee of CWDB, Jodhpur was executed under the chairmanship of the chief guest. The house was welcomed by Dr. SMK Naqvi with briefing about the global status of sheep & wool and their value addition. The agenda of the meeting has been presented by Mr. Anurag Purohit of CWDB on behalf of Sh. Giriraj Meena, Executive Director, CWDB. The scheduled agenda items were discussed one by one and minutes are recorded. Dr. Ajay Kumar, I/c Head TMTC Division of the institute coordinated the visit of the dignitaries and 46^th Executive Committee Meeting of the Wool Board. The programme was ended with the vote of thanks to dignitaries and participants of Executive Committee.
