BackExhibition of CSWRI technologies in Kisan Mela at CAZRI, Jodhpur

An exhibition of CSWRI technologies was stalled on 24^thSeptember 2015 in Kisan Mela organized by CAZRI, Jodhpur. The Mela was a grand event in which more than 2000 farmers, animal breeders, students, women farmers, NGOs, professionals etc. from all over Rajasthan got benefitted from interaction with scientists, subject matter specialists of different institutes and universities. More than 200 farmers from Rajasthan visited our stall and benefitted from the technologies developed by CSWRI, Avikanagar. The exhibits displayed by the Institute were triple breed cross, estrus synchronization, fat lamb production, mineral mixture feeding, development of blanket from wool, different types of meat products, agroforestry and transfer of technologies activities. A team of scientist and technical officer displayed the exhibits of sheep and wool technologies developed by the Institute. Out of total 43 stalls in the Mela, our stall was awarded third prize.  Chief Guests of the programme were Sh. Jogaram Patel, MLA, Govt. of Rajasthan, and Dr. B.R. Chhipa, Vice-Chancellor, Swami Keshwanand Rajasthan Agricultural University, Bikaner. Dr. A.K. Mishra, Director, CAZRI, Jodhpur was the Chairman of organizing committee and Dr. Pratibha Tewari was the coordinator of Kisan Mela.
