BackIndustrial Visit of B.Tech. (Biotech) students from Kerala to SRRC, Mannavanur

Dr. V.M. Nishad, Ph.D.,  Asst Professor, Biotechnology Department, MET'S School of Engineering, Mala,  Thrissur  Kerala  along with 20 students of  Third year B.Tech Biotechnology/ Engineering, MET'S School of Engineering, Mala,  Thrissur  kerala  had visited SRRC, Mannavanur near Kodaikanal on 15/09/2015 (Tuesday) as part of their annual industrial visit. Since, some of their core course subjects are Animal Biotechnology, Immunology, and Genetic Engineering etc. are directly related with our area of practice and research, they shown keen interest in Biotechnological application for sheep, rabbit and wool science and research. Dr.S.M.K. Thirumaran delivered lecture on uses of biotechnological tools in sheep and wool science. Shri. G.Murali, Technical officer explained the wool and value addition of sheep wool.   Dr.A.S. Rajendiran, Principal Scientist & OIC had proposed vote of thanks.
