The Agri-Business Incubation Centre at the ICAR-Central Sheep and Wool Research Institute (CSWRI) in Avikanagar organized a one-day workshop titled "Aarambh 2.0," aimed at promoting entrepreneurship development in sheep, goat, and rabbit farming. This event, held in collaboration with the CEAD Foundation, Udaipur, featured participation from distinguished guests at both the central and state levels. The Chief Guest for the workshop was Prof. S.P. Singh Baghel, Minister of State for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, and Dairying, Government of India. The Special Guests included Shri Joraram Kumawat, Minister of Animal Husbandry, Rajasthan, Shri Kanhaiya Lal Chaudhary, Cabinet Minister for P.H.E.D. & Ground Water Department, Rajasthan, and Dr. Bhawani Singh Rathore, Director of Animal Husbandry, Government of Rajasthan.

Under the guidance of Dr. Arun Kumar Tomar, Director of CSWRI, and with the presence of Dr. Raghvendra Bhatt, Deputy Director General (Animal Science), the workshop aimed to create a robust dialogue around entrepreneurship, growth, and innovation under the National Livestock Mission (NLM) scheme. More than 500 progressive farmers, startup representatives, and NLM officials from 12 states participated in the event.

The discussions highlighted the NLM's role in promoting entrepreneurship development in sheep and goat farming across the country, focusing on fostering innovation and sustainable practices. This workshop serves as an essential platform for sharing knowledge and insights that can drive growth in the livestock sector.

This workshop has been instrumental in highlighting these initiatives to a broader national audience, promoting awareness of this transformative effort. Through "Aarambh 2.0," CSWRI is empowering small livestock farmers across the nation, inspiring them to pursue entrepreneurship in the field and contribute to the economic development of rural communities.
