BackValedictory function of AI training

Central Sheep and Wool Research Institute has organized seven day training programme on “Demonstration of Oestrus Synchronization and Artificial Insemination in Sheep’’ for the Veterinary Officers of Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Maharashtra, Uttarakhand, Jharkhand  and Rajasthan from 11.02.2014 to 17.02.2014. The valedictory function was held on 17. 02.14 under the chairmanship of Dr. S. M. K. Naqvi, Director, CSWRI.  Dr. Davendra Kumar, I/C AP& B and course coordinator has explained the activities conducted under the program. During the training, the reproductive technologies have demonstrated at farmer’s flock in the field. In the presidential address, Dr. Naqvi has elaborated the simplicity of AI technique and hoped that the participants will use the technique in their respective states. Certificates were distributed to all the participants. It is certain that the training programme has provided sufficient knowledge to the participants in sheep reproduction.  The participants not only appreciated the institute staff but also the infrastructure. The Central Wool Development Board, (Ministry of Textiles) & Network Project on Sheep Improvement is acknowledged for sponsoring this training programme. The program was coordinated by Vinod Kadam, scientist and I/C HRD.
